GREENPISTA – TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the GreenPista mobile application and website (collectively, the “Platform”), owned and operated by GreenPista Labs LLP (“GreenPista”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By accessing, registering, browsing, listing, buying, selling, gifting, or otherwise using the Platform you (“User”, “you”, “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms along with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Returns & Refunds Policy, which together form a legally binding agreement.

1. Nature of Platform & Legal Framework

1.1 GreenPista is a technology-enabled facilitation and discovery platform that enables Users to discover, list, buy, sell, gift and transfer numismatic and collectible currency notes and related memorabilia.

1.2 GreenPista:

Does not mint, alter, exchange, demonetize, or issue currency

Does not operate as a bank, financial institution, money-changer, or investment advisor

Acts strictly as a facilitator and not as a principal or owner of goods

1.3 Transactions facilitated on the Platform are governed by applicable Indian laws including, but not limited to:

Indian Contract Act 1872

Sale of Goods Act 1930

Consumer Protection Act 2019 and E-Commerce Rules

Information Technology Act 2000

Coinage Act 2011

Antiquities and Art Treasures Act 1972 (where applicable)

Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023

Foreign Exchange Management Act 1999

Post Office Act 2024, Carriage by Road Act 2007, and applicable Courier Regulations

2. Eligibility & User Representations

2.1 Users must be 18 years of age or older and legally competent to contract under Indian law.

2.2 By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that:

All information provided by you is true, accurate, and lawful

You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations

You will not engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful activity

GreenPista reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for violations.

3. Account Registration & Security

3.1 Certain features require account registration using valid contact and identity details.

3.2 You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities conducted through your account.

3.3 Account Security

You must promptly notify GreenPista of any unauthorized access or security breach

You remain liable for all actions under your credentials until such notice is received

GreenPista may suspend, lock, or restrict accounts to protect Users and the Platform

4. Listings, Discovery & Transactions

4.1 Sellers are solely responsible for lawful ownership, authenticity, accuracy, and pricing of listed items.

4.2 Buyers must independently verify listing details before completing transactions.

4.3 GreenPista:

Does not guarantee rarity, valuation, appreciation, or resale value

Does not certify notes as new or uncirculated

Is not responsible for buyer-seller disputes beyond facilitation

4.4 Buyer-seller transactions constitute contracts under the Indian Contract Act 1872 and Sale of Goods Act 1930.

5. Payments, Fees & Charges

5.1 The Platform may charge listing fees, discovery fees, facilitation fees, premium service charges, or other amounts as displayed.

5.2 Payments are processed through authorized payment gateways in compliance with Indian regulations.

5.3 GreenPista is not liable for delays or failures caused by banks, payment gateways, or third-party processors.

6. Shipping & Delivery

6.1 Shipping of physical collectibles is governed strictly by the Shipping Policy and applicable Indian laws.

6.2 International shipping of Indian legal tender notes is strictly prohibited.

6.3 Risk transfers to the buyer upon lawful handover to the courier, unless otherwise stated.

7. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

7.1 All returns, refunds, exchanges, and cancellations are governed exclusively by the Returns & Refunds Policy.

7.2 No claim shall be entertained outside the policy framework.

8. Use of Data & User-Generated Content

8.1 Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

8.2 User Content Licence

When you submit or upload any content including text, images, videos, reviews, ratings, or comments, you grant GreenPista a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable licence to host, store, reproduce, distribute, modify, adapt, publish, and display such content for Platform operations, marketing and communication, analytics and compliance, service improvement and feature development.

8.3 You represent that you own or have lawful permission for all content you submit.

8.4 GreenPista may use aggregated, anonymized, and non-identifiable data relating to Platform usage, analytics, and user behaviour.

9. Promotional Offers, Rewards & Benefits

9.1 All promotional offers, vouchers, discounts, or rewards (“Offers”) are subject to additional terms.

9.2 Offer Conditions

Offers are non-transferable and non-cashable unless expressly stated

GreenPista may modify, suspend, or withdraw Offers at any time

Offer value may be forfeited in case of misuse or refunds

9.3 GreenPista’s decision regarding Offers shall be final and binding.

10. Fair Usage, Monitoring & Abuse Prevention

10.1 GreenPista monitors account activity to prevent fraud and misuse.

10.2 Violations may result in suspension, forfeiture of benefits, or legal action.

10.3 Automated and manual systems may be used.

11. Account Blocking, Suspension & Compliance Actions

GreenPista may, at its sole discretion, block, suspend, restrict, or permanently disable any User account, with or without prior notice, to protect Platform integrity, buyer trust, and legal compliance. The following circumstances may trigger such action:

11.1 Suspicious or High-Risk Activity — GreenPista may restrict or block an account if any activity is detected that is unusual, automated, bot-like, manipulative, harmful, or inconsistent with normal user behaviour. Such measures are necessary to prevent fraud, safeguard transactions, and preserve platform security.

11.2 Non-Compliance, Misuse, or Breach of Obligations — An account may be blocked or suspended if the User fails to dispatch a confirmed note within the stipulated timeline, violates any GreenPista guideline, policy, or operational instruction, engages in conduct that undermines buyer trust, disrupts platform safety, or impacts brand standards, or provides misleading, inaccurate, or fraudulent information during listing, verification, or dispatch. GreenPista reserves the right to initiate corrective or disciplinary action as required.

11.3 Abnormal Behaviour & Risk Mitigation — Accounts exhibiting abnormal, inconsistent, or high-frequency activity patterns that may indicate misuse, risk, or potential manipulation may be temporarily restricted or reviewed. Such restrictions are precautionary and may remain in effect until the activity is validated or risk is mitigated.

11.4 Compliance & Safety Violations — Any act of misuse, attempted fraud, manipulation, circumvention of platform systems, or violation of legal or policy requirements may result in temporary or permanent account blocking, suspension of withdrawals, benefits, rewards, or Offers, cancellation of orders or listings, or reporting to law enforcement, regulatory authorities, or relevant agencies where legally mandated. GreenPista may take any action necessary to protect the integrity of the Platform.

11.5 User Rights & Clarification Requests — If a User believes their account has been blocked or restricted in error, they may contact GreenPista Support for clarification. Resolution or reinstatement shall be subject to verification, compliance checks, and internal review processes.

12. Clause – Demonetisation, Discontinuation & Government Policy Changes

GreenPista deals exclusively in collectible currency notes listed and exchanged by users on the platform. All notes remain the legal property of their respective sellers until purchased by a buyer. GreenPista neither issues currency nor guarantees its legal tender status.

Accordingly, in the event of any Government of India action—including but not limited to:

• Demonetisation of any currency denomination
• Withdrawal or discontinuation of any denomination
• Changes in RBI guidelines, currency design, circulation, or validity
• Any policy, notification, circular, or advisory that affects the legal tender status or usability of currency notes

GreenPista shall not be liable or responsible under any circumstances to:

• Replace any note from buyer or sellers
• Exchange any note
• Refund any money
• Compensate buyers, sellers, or any third party
• Provide alternatives or value adjustments

All transactions on GreenPista are conducted strictly on the basis of collectible and emotional value, not the legal tender value of the currency note. Users acknowledge and agree that government-driven currency-related changes are outside GreenPista’s control, and no claim shall be made against GreenPista in such situations.

13. Prohibited Activities

Users shall not engage in fraud, list illegal currency, upload unlawful content, or bypass safeguards.

14. Intellectual Property & Brand Use

All GreenPista IP is owned or licensed by GreenPista. Unauthorized use may attract legal action.

15. Third-Party Links & Integrations

GreenPista does not endorse or control third-party services. Use at your own risk.

16. Limitation of Liability

Any liability shall be limited to the facilitation fee charged for the transaction.

17. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GreenPista against claims arising from violations.

18. Grievance Redressal

A Grievance Officer is appointed under the IT Act 2000 and E-Commerce Rules 2020.

19. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Disputes shall be resolved amicably or referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996.

20. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

Courts at Delhi-NCR, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

21. Amendments & Updates

Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
