This Shipping Policy governs the shipment of physical numismatic collectible currency notes and related items facilitated through the GreenPista platform. GreenPista operates solely as a facilitation and discovery platform and ensures compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and policies of India.
The policy is framed and enforced in accordance with the following statutory provisions and regulatory frameworks:
• Indian Contract Act 1872
• Consumer Protection Act 2019
• Sale of Goods Act 1930
• Information Technology Act 2000
• The Post Office Act 2023
• Carriage by Road Act 2007
• Applicable Courier Regulations 1998 of India
• Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) 2023 to the extent applicable as a deterrent against counterfeit or unlawful activity.
This Shipping Policy must be read together with other applicable GreenPista platform policies and shall be interpreted in compliance with the above laws as amended from time to time.
This policy is divided into two sections for clarity

2 Seller Shipping Policy
This Buyer Shipping Policy applies to all buyers who access Digital Date Discovery or purchase physical numismatic collectible currency notes and related accessories through the GreenPista platform within India.
Digital Date Discovery is a preview-based feature. The note images shown are illustrative and indicative, similar to product previews used by leading e-commerce platforms. GreenPista does not guarantee that the preview image will match the exact physical note held by any seller.
The primary purpose of the displayed preview image is to help users:
• Verify and reconfirm whether their important or emotionally significant date (DDMMYY) exists on any genuine Indian currency note.
• Understand rarity, pattern, and visibility of their searched date.
• Download and share the discovered date image within their personal network after completing the Digital Discovery.
Digital Discovery is not a physical product—it is a digital confirmation tool enabling users to check if their date exists in the currency ecosystem.
GreenPista ensures accurate display of the searched DDMMYY date if such a note exists in the system. If the date-based note has been sold out or is not currently available on the platform, the image may not be displayed.
Alphabetic prefixes, suffixes, or additional serial characters are not part of the Digital Discovery process and are excluded from the buyer’s digital journey.
The “Preview” feature is designed to:
• Provide visual clarity on how the searched date appears on a real currency note.
• Increase transparency for first-time users.
• Help buyers understand the polarity, rarity, and visual arrangement of the date before purchasing any physical note.
The preview serves purely as a digital assistive layer, not a representation of the exact physical note that may later be shipped.
GreenPista supports domestic shipping within India only. International shipping of physical currency notes or related collectible goods is strictly prohibited under all circumstances.
Shipping is facilitated through third party courier partners or India Post as deemed appropriate by GreenPista. Shipping charges are calculated based on package weight packaging requirements and average logistics and handling costs. Free shipping may be offered on select orders, promotional campaigns or special categories as notified on the platform from time to time.
Standard Shipping orders are typically delivered within 3 to 4 weeks from the next business day following order confirmation.
Prime Delivery, where available, is dispatched within 7 days from the next business day after order confirmation.
These timelines are indicative and may vary due to exceptional order volumes or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, GreenPista will notify buyers through the App or via email SMS or WhatsApp as appropriate.
Delivery timelines may vary depending on buyer location, courier partner and regulatory or security checks. Estimated delivery dates displayed at checkout are indicative only and are calculated from the date of dispatch and not from the order date. Delays caused by force majeure events including weather disruptions, regulatory inspections strikes, natural disasters or courier delays are beyond GreenPista’s control.
Buyers are responsible for providing accurate complete and accessible delivery details including address and contact information. GreenPista shall not be responsible for delays in delivery or returns caused due to incorrect incomplete or unreachable delivery information provided by the buyer.
Once an order is dispatched buyers will receive shipment and tracking details via email, WhatsApp or SMS. Tracking updates are subject to information provided by the respective courier partner and may change from time to time.
Courier partners attempt delivery as per their standard operating procedures. If delivery fails due to buyer unavailability refusal or incorrect address the shipment may be returned and additional re shipping charges may apply. GreenPista shall not be liable for delays arising from failed delivery attempts attributable to the buyer.
Delivery may be restricted or unavailable in certain regions due to regulatory security or logistical limitations. International delivery remains completely restricted for all physical currency notes and collectibles.
Buyers are advised to inspect the outer package seal at the time of delivery. If the seal is found broken, tampered or damaged buyers must refuse delivery and return the package immediately without taking possession. Acceptance of such a package shall be deemed as confirmation of successful delivery and completion of the order.
In case of lost shipments or visibly damaged deliveries buyers must notify GreenPista at [email protected] within 2 days of the expected delivery date. GreenPista will investigate the matter with the courier partner and may offer a replacement or refund strictly in accordance with the applicable Returns and Refund Policy.
All cancellations, returns and refunds related to shipping are governed exclusively by the GreenPista Returns and Refund Policy as updated from time to time.
Title and risk of loss or damage to the product pass to the buyer upon successful delivery at the buyer’s address as confirmed by courier delivery records.
GreenPista follows a three level verification and authentication protocol to ensure that no counterfeit or non compliant currency note enters the platform. This process aligns with RBI prescribed visible and machine readable security features and industry standard authentication practices.
AI Based Preliminary Verification
At the time of scanning the GreenPista App uses an AI driven image recognition system to verify denomination country of origin serial number and visible RBI security features. Any mismatch or inconsistency results in immediate rejection.
Secondary Human Verification
After order placement GreenPista’s internal verification team manually reviews the uploaded note image to assess clarity, physical condition, authenticity markers serial number and date consistency and any visible anomalies. Only notes passing this stage proceed further.
Final Physical Quality Check
Upon receipt of the physical note at the GreenPista Lab the Quality Control team conducts 100 percent physical authentication including inspection of visible security features alignment tampering and wear UV light examination for RBI specified markers and machine based counterfeit detection covering magnetic ink infrared patterns watermark consistency OVI colour shift and other machine readable elements. Each note is tested across approximately 16-18 critical security parameters. Only notes clearing all checks are approved for dispatch and a Quality Control Test Report is shared with the buyer.
Currency notes sold on GreenPista are genuine legal tender notes that have previously been in circulation. As such, GreenPista does not guarantee that notes will be brand new or completely free from minor handling marks, folds or signs of circulation. However, the GreenPista team undertakes reasonable quality checks to ensure that buyers receive the best possible condition available from verified sellers.
GreenPista strongly recommends that all buyers, sellers and users support and follow the RBI Clean Note Policy. Users must not write draw mark stamp staple pin or make any physical alteration on currency notes using pen, pencil ink or any other material. Defacement or marking of currency notes may reduce their collectible value and may also be contrary to RBI guidelines. GreenPista discourages any action that damages alters or defaces legal tender currency notes in any manner.
This Buyer Shipping Policy must be read together with the Seller Shipping Policy Returns and Refund Policy and Authentication and Quality Policy. In case of any inconsistency GreenPista’s interpretation shall prevail subject to applicable law.
This Seller Shipping Policy applies to all sellers who list, package, and ship physical numismatic collectible currency notes or related items through the GreenPista platform.
Sellers are solely and fully responsible for supplying genuine, unaltered, legal tender currency notes that are lawfully held. Sellers must ensure complete accuracy of denomination, serial number, year, and description as listed on the platform. All shipments must use secure, tamper-proof, and transit-safe packaging. Sellers must comply with all applicable laws, including liability under the BNS Act 2023, specifically Sections 179 and 180, relating to counterfeit currency, abetment, or unlawful possession.
Sellers must ship items strictly in accordance with GreenPista’s prescribed shipping instructions, including packaging standards, labeling, and documentation requirements. Any deviation may result in shipment rejection, order cancellation, penalties, or appropriate seller account action.
If a seller ships an incorrect serial number, wrong denomination, damaged note, or any item not matching the confirmed order, the seller shall bear full responsibility including reverse logistics and handling costs. The seller must refund the buyer’s payment to GreenPista within 7 working days. Seller accounts may be temporarily suspended or permanently blocked depending on the severity or recurrence of the violation.
If a note is found to be counterfeit or suspected to be counterfeit, GreenPista may inform competent authorities including local police, the Reserve Bank of India, or other statutory bodies. The seller may face legal consequences under applicable laws including BNS Sections 179 and 180, subject to investigation. The seller’s account shall be immediately suspended pending investigation.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, sellers are responsible for outbound shipping costs to GreenPista or to the buyer, as instructed. Any loss, damage, or delay arising from improper packaging, misdeclaration, or non-compliance shall be borne entirely by the seller.
Failure to ship within the committed or prescribed timeframe may result in order cancellation, penalties or deductions, reduction in seller ratings or sell power, and temporary or permanent restrictions on the seller account.
Once the seller hands over the shipment to an authorised courier and shares valid tracking details, transit risk shall be governed by the courier partner’s terms. However, any loss arising from seller negligence, misdeclaration, or packaging failure shall remain the seller’s responsibility.
GreenPista shall not be liable for any delay, failure, or interruption in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of God, government actions, regulatory changes, court orders, strikes, lockdowns, war, civil unrest, epidemics, pandemics, or courier and logistics disruptions.
GreenPista reserves the right to amend, modify, or update this Shipping Policy at any time. Updated versions shall be published on the website and mobile application. Continued access to or use of the GreenPista platform after such publication shall constitute acceptance of the revised policy.
All communications, notices, and updates relating to shipping, orders, disputes, or policy changes may be provided electronically through email, in-app notifications, SMS, WhatsApp, or website notices. Electronic communication shall be deemed valid and legally binding.

A Grievance Officer appointed under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act 2000 and Rule 5(2) of the E-Commerce Rules 2020 shall handle user complaints. The Grievance Officer’s name, contact details, and working hours are published under the “Legal and Compliance” section of www.greenpista.com.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GreenPista’s liability, if any, arising out of shipping-related issues shall be limited to the service fees actually received by GreenPista for the relevant transaction. GreenPista shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages.
Buyers and sellers agree to indemnify and hold harmless GreenPista, its partners, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, penalties, or expenses arising out of misuse of the platform, violation of this policy, misdeclaration, counterfeit activity, or breach of applicable laws.
If any provision of this Shipping Policy is held to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a competent court, such provision shall be severed, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Failure or delay by GreenPista in enforcing any right or provision under this policy shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
GreenPista may assign or transfer its rights and obligations under this Shipping Policy as part of any merger, acquisition, restructuring, or business transfer without prior notice. Users may not assign their rights or obligations without prior written consent.
This Shipping Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. All disputes arising out of or relating to this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Delhi-NCR, India.
