Everything You Need To Know Before Selling Your Special Date Note

Seller Guide
Q1: How to sell a Special Date Note?

Selling your Special Date (Birthday / Anniversary) note on the GreenPista App is simple:

  • Download or update the GreenPista App
  • Available on:
  • Google Play Store (Android)
  • Apple App Store (iPhone)
  • Scan Your Note
  • Use the in-app scanner to check your note’s serial number and view its estimated expected value/gain value.
  • List Your Note for Sale
  • Listing is compulsory to sell. Once listed, your note becomes visible to potential buyers.

Special date notes often attract more buyer interest and may help you achieve better expected value.

Once a buyer match is found, our team will contact you and guide you through the secure process.

Q2: How much time does it take to sell my note?

The time it takes to sell a Special Date note can vary. Some notes may sell on the same day, while others could take several days, weeks, or even months.

Selling a note is essentially a matching process:

  • Each note has a unique 6-digit serial number corresponding to a date in DDMMYY format.
  • A sale occurs only when a buyer orders a note that exactly matches this serial number.
  • The more notes you list, the higher your chances of finding a match.

Once a matching buyer is found, our team will contact you immediately and guide you through the next steps to complete the sale securely.

Q4: Why do you charge a listing fee? / What is a listing?

A Listing Fee is a nominal charge applied to sellers to ensure that only serious and genuine sellers list their dated (Golden) Notes on the GreenPista App.

This fee serves several purposes:

  • Filters casual sellers – Prevents non-serious or temporary listings.
  • Builds marketplace trust – Buyers can be confident that listed notes come from committed sellers.
  • Secures genuine interest – Demonstrates the seller’s intent to complete the transaction.

By charging a small listing fee, we maintain a safe, trusted, and efficient marketplace for all buyers and sellers.

Q5: How to get a refund for my listing fee?
  • The Listing Fee is non-refundable.
  • The fee is tied to a quota and inventory validity.
  • Your notes remain listed and active for the duration of your selected plan.
  • Refer to Terms & Conditions / Refund Policy for complete details.

Once your notes are listed, they will stay active until the validity period of your plan expires.

Q6: How can I restore my deleted notes?

You can recover and re-upload your deleted notes by following these simple steps:

  • Open the App and go to the “My Notes” section.
  • Click on the three-line menu (☰) in the upper right corner.
  • Select the “Others” option from the menu.
  • Tap on “List Now” against the deleted note.

This process ensures your notes remain active and available for potential buyers.

Q7. My Note is not getting sold.
Selling a Special Date note depends entirely on a matching process between buyers and sellers.
  • Each note has a unique serial number corresponding to a specific date.
  • A sale occurs only when a buyer orders a note that exactly matches your serial number.
  • We cannot force a buyer to purchase a note, nor a seller to sell — it’s completely based on availability and demand.
Tip: Listing more notes increases your chances of finding a match, as it improves the probability that a buyer will order one of your notes.
